Intracurricular Programme

The heart of the school day at Prestige: national curriculum subjects enriched by international references, taught with English as an everyday language of instruction.

The intracurricular programme is the core of learning at Prestige. It delivers the full range of subjects set out in the national curriculum issued by Indonesia's Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology.

Because our students are growing up in an increasingly connected world, Prestige School enriches and strengthens that national curriculum with material drawn from internationally recognised education standards. The references we draw on for this enrichment are the Cambridge and Montessori curricula.

Beyond academics, Prestige Bilingual School runs a character education programme built on social and emotional skills through SEL (Social Emotional Learning). These lessons build each student's capacity to bring together the skills, attitudes, and behaviour needed to handle everyday tasks and challenges well.

Curriculum References

Three references, one learning experience

The National Curriculum is the foundation. Cambridge and Montessori serve as references that enrich and strengthen what we teach - never as replacements for it.

Kurikulum Nasional
The curriculum set nationally by Indonesia's Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology. It covers thematic learning - Indonesian, Civics, Physical Education, Arts and Culture, and Social Studies - alongside Religious Education.
Cambridge
The international reference we use to enrich and strengthen the national curriculum. In elementary school, Cambridge guides our English, Science, Mathematics, and ICT lessons, supported by Cambridge reference books in the school library.
Montessori
A reference approach that honours each child's independence, hands-on experience, and readiness at their own stage of development - closely aligned with the learning-by-doing spirit we cultivate.

School Levels

Four levels, one learning journey

From Playgroup through Elementary School, each level is designed to connect: what a child masters today becomes the ground they stand on next year.

Playgroup

Playgroup is a play-based programme with a strong emphasis on kindergarten readiness. We make sure our three- and four-year-olds build every skill they need for the next step, while still having plenty of room to make friends and simply enjoy being children.

What this level focuses on

A play-based programme that prepares children for kindergarten

Kindergarten

Our kindergarten programme keeps the learning stimulating and nurtures the growth of the whole child: physically, socially, emotionally, and intellectually. As children master tasks and skills matched to their age and ability, they develop a healthy sense of self and the readiness skills they need to thrive in the elementary years.

Elementary School

Our elementary school is organised into Lower Elementary (Grades 1-3) and Upper Elementary (Grades 3-6) for children aged six to twelve. The curriculum covers the National Curriculum and is aligned with Cambridge learning objectives, giving students a rich international learning experience while growing into young people of good character who are independent and responsible.

Junior High School

Prestige Bilingual School's Junior High continues the bilingual journey from Elementary on the same campus, for students in Grades 7 to 9. The level has been officially licensed since 2024 and runs the Kurikulum Merdeka.

Extracurricular

The clubs our students look forward to

Extracurricular sessions run twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Children choose the club closest to their own interests - and that is often where a talent first shows itself.
