Five stages, from first hello to final paperwork
Every stage has a clear purpose, and none of it has to happen in a single day. Our admissions staff confirm each step with you as you go.
Stage 1 of 5
Registration Information
You are welcome to visit the school in person or contact a member of our admissions team to learn more about Prestige.
Our admissions staff will walk you through the registration procedure for both new and transferring students.
Stage 2 of 5
Student Observation
Before registering, every prospective student is observed by a class teacher from the relevant level.
For new students, the observation looks at readiness and learning skills. Children under the age of six additionally need a recommendation from a psychologist or from the Prestige Bilingual School teaching board.
For transferring students, the observation establishes how well the child will settle in and what they already bring with them before joining Prestige Bilingual School.
Stage 3 of 5
Parent-School Conference
You will meet the principal or a representative, either online or face to face, to go through our school programmes in detail.
Our admissions staff will arrange the meeting for you.
Stage 4 of 5
Registration Form Payment
Once the observation is complete and you have decided to enrol your child, you may purchase the registration form through our admissions staff.
Payment for the registration form is made to Bank BNI 117-12579-53 in the name of Prestige Bilingual School, KC AR Hakim-Medan.
Please send the proof of payment to the school WhatsApp number 0822 7740 0990.
Please note: the registration form fee is non-refundable.
Stage 5 of 5
Completing the Registration Form
After receiving the form, parents or guardians complete it and return it to the admissions staff together with the supporting documents for the relevant level.
Once your documents are complete, the Prestige Bilingual School finance team will contact you to discuss the payment planning for your child's education.
Not sure where to begin? Begin at Stage 1 - a single WhatsApp message is enough.

The questions parents ask us most
Ten things families usually want settled before they apply. If your question is not answered here, just ask us directly.
Which levels does Prestige Bilingual School offer?
Prestige Bilingual School currently runs four levels: Playgroup (ages 3-4), Kindergarten (ages 4-6), Elementary School (ages 6-12), and Junior High School (ages 12-15). Our elementary school is organised into Lower Elementary (Grades 1-3) and Upper Elementary (Grades 3-6). Senior high school is planned as the next stage of our development.
What curriculum do you follow?
We follow the National Curriculum set by Indonesia's Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, and enrich it with references from the Cambridge and Montessori curricula. In elementary school, the National Curriculum covers thematic subjects and Religious Education, while Cambridge guides English, Science, Mathematics, and ICT. Character education is delivered through SEL (Social Emotional Learning) lessons.
Does my child need to speak English before joining?
No. Quite the opposite: English is one of our languages of instruction precisely so that children grow used to it from an early age. They progress gradually, at a pace suited to their age, guided by teachers who are used to working in two languages. If you would like reassurance about your child's readiness, the student observation stage of admission gives both you and us a clear picture.
Is Prestige Bilingual School accredited?
Yes - all three formal levels. Kindergarten is accredited A (decree 509/BAN-PDM/SK/2025) and Junior High is accredited A (decree 627/BAN-PDM/SK/2025), both valid to 31 December 2030. Elementary holds an A (Excellent) from BAN-SM with a score of 93, and that certificate is available to view on this site.
When does admission open, and do you accept transferring students?
Admission is open throughout the year for as long as class places remain, for both new and transferring students. Transferring students go through an observation to see how well they will settle in and what they already bring with them, and there are a few extra documents required, such as a legalised report book, the NISN card, and a school transfer letter.
What does the admission process look like?
There are five stages: (1) Registration Information - visit the school or contact our admissions staff; (2) Student Observation by a teacher from the relevant level; (3) a Parent-School Conference with the principal or a representative, in person or online; (4) payment for the registration form; and (5) completing the registration form together with the supporting documents. Once your documents are complete, our finance team will contact you to discuss a payment plan.
What are the fees, and how do I pay for the registration form?
The details of tuition and other education costs are discussed directly with our admissions and finance staff, so the figures match your child's level and your family's situation. For the registration form itself, payment is made to Bank BNI 117-12579-53 in the name of Prestige Bilingual School, KC AR Hakim-Medan, and the proof of payment is sent to the school WhatsApp number 0822 7740 0990. Please note that the registration form fee is non-refundable. Call us on (061) 7336 1339 for current fee information.
Which extracurricular activities are available, and when do they run?
Extracurricular sessions run twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The clubs on offer include Science Club, Cooking Club, Art and Craft Club, Dancing Club, Origami Club, Badminton Club, Chess Club, Literacy Club, English Club, Fun Digital Club, Story Telling, Futsal Club, Karate Club, and olympiad preparation in science and mathematics.
Where is the school, and are transport and lunch available?
Prestige Bilingual School is at Jl. Bromo No. 224, Medan Denai, Medan 20228. We provide a school shuttle service for families who need it, and a daily lunch service on school days with a varied menu suited to how our students are growing.
How does the school involve parents?
Involving parents is part of our mission. We run home visits at the start of each semester and mid-semester reviews, weekly Tea Talks, a Parents Club (futsal, badminton, cycling, Turkish Club, cooking, and sewing), and Parents Webinars with knowledgeable guest speakers. A full guide to our academic and non-academic policies is available in the Parents Handbook, which you can download from this site.
